florida weekend!

I flew "home" to my parents house to stay for a couple weeks before I get married! I flew in at like 3 pm on Friday and we drove to Florida at like 4 or 5 pm the same day! We stayed at Jason, Trina, and Zya's house. I was bummed that Aubrae wasn't there but we still had a great weekend.

They are so cute and just the nicest people!

First we went to Fort Pickens. It is the largest of four forts that were built to defend Pensacola Bay in Florida. So it's a Navy Fort. It's HUGE! It was built back in 1834 and went through many battles during the Civil War so I think it's amazing that it's still there!

After touring the Fort we went to the bay side of the beach! It was a red flag day which means that there was a strong under current so people were not supposed to swim in the Ocean on the gulf side. So we spent most of the day in the water on the bay side. We found hermit crabs, giant pelicans, and a sand dollar that was alive! We had a blast.

After we were all warn out from swimming we went to the gulf side to see the bigger waves and play on the better sand. Dad and the boys went and flew their kites. Us girls drew in the sand and put our feet in the water!

On Sunday it was Easter! The Easter Bunny found us even in Florida! I got the cutest picnic set!! I'm not gonna put pictures up until I take Jake out on a picnic someday when it gets warm outside. But trust me, it's stinkin' cute! :) We went to Stake Conference with Jason and Trina. My family's home teacher, Brother Bluth, who is now Elder Bluth, was on his first assignment to give them a new stake president! So we got to see him there and hear him speak! It was way cool! After church we each found our plastic eggs and then we colored real eggs! I love Easter traditions, they are so fun!

On Monday we got to really sleep in and then we went to the navy base in Pensacola, Florida. We get to see the coolest things through our awesome connection, Jason! We went to the National Naval Aviation Museum! It was SOOOO COOL!! After that we stopped by the Pensacola Lighthouse. Lighthouses are so neat.

I just love Florida! I have so missed the sun!! Even though I am EXTREMELY sunburned it's better than the Rexburg white I was before!! :)

heidyn's birthday!

Okay I'm super behind! Her birthday was on April 8. She turned 17 this year!

We took this at Tod's house before going out to eat. There's Ashley (Tod's daughter), me, Destry, Heidyn, Ramona (Teilani), and Tod.

For her birthday her mom's boyfriend Tod took us out to eat at Tempanyaki or something like that... It's the kind of restaurant where they cook right in front of you! It was super cool and all of us caught the shrimp in our mouth except Ramona. Haha.

Then we went to Quick Wits which is this hilarious comedy show in Utah.

They brought Heidyn to the stage because it was her birthday and they had her describe her day to them and then they sang it back to her. It was super clever and super funny! I got it on video but I don't know how to put that on my laptop...

sant grandparents!

I finally got to see my Grandma and Grandpa Sant! It has been over a year and it feels like way way longer than that! They are driving down to Utah and were nice enough to stop by Rexburg on the way to take Jake and I out to dinner! I love them, they are two of the sweetest, most loving people you will ever meet. I'm so lucky to have them as grandparents! :)

three day weekend!

On Friday Jake and I went to his parents house for the night and we watched The Time Travelers Wife and The Notebook. I'm not normally into chick flicks but I'm glad that when I am in the mood Jake is willing to just go with it lol. On Saturday we went to the Bolejacks house to visit Ben. We made pizza and talked and goofed off. Ben is way fun to hang out with. Then Saturday night my grandparents, Ben, Heidyn, Destry, Jake, and I went to the Ice Castle in Midway. That was where Jake proposed. It was super pretty and super fun! On Sunday Jake and I drove to the Mouritsen's house and went to church with Heidyn, Destry, and unlce Hugh. Then we went back to their house and ate yummy food and played my favorite game ever- the new Guess Who. Then Jake and I picked up Ben and went back to the Hathaway's for dinner. It was way yummy! My grandparents totally spoil me. On Monday Jake, Ben, and I met up with Ben Pugh and his friend Hannah for lunch! That was fun. We went to Applebees. Then Jake and I dropped off Ben and we went to his sister Monique's house. She is so funny and awesome and her kids are fun to be around. After visiting with her we went to Idaho Falls to say hi then we came back to Rexburg!

By the way, on Monday Jake and I called the Bountiful Temple and we are getting married on June 3 at 9:15 in the morning! We also went and saw an apartment. We both loved it. I move in April 15. Jake moves in june 5! I am very VERY excited.
